Job Description Job Description Commercial HVAC Technician We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our Facilities team. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the Director of Facility Maintenance. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration units Troubleshoot system issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency Maintain accurate service records and documentation of work performed Respond to emergency service calls as part of an on-call rotation Utilize industry-standard tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadership Position Requirements High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial HVAC environment EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required Experience with Controls/BAS systems preferred Strong working knowledge of HVAC tools and equipment Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds regularly Ability to operate power tools such as drills, saws, and other equipment Ability to bend, climb, and work in confined spaces Comfortable working in environments with heat, cold, moisture, noise, and light chemical exposure Work Schedule Full-time position Participation in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance services What We Offer A mission-driven, faith-based work environment focused on personal and professional growth Comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees and their families
