Registered Nurse - Hybrid Position Preop/PACU - P/T with Benefits Days

About This Role The Registered Nurse in this hybrid position will deliver individualized patient care in the Preoperative and PACU settings. This role is ideal for nurses who are committed to evidence-based practices and effective communication within a collaborative healthcare team. Highlights Pay: $45 - $45/hour Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Day shift What You'll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care. Communicate ongoing patient status and treatment plans with healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluations electronically. Provide patient and family-centered education for health optimization and disease management. Participate in multi-disciplinary discharges to ensure safe transitions of care. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience: Recent critical care unit nursing experience required 6 months recent PACU nursing experience preferred Preoperative nursing experience preferred Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required ACLS required PALS required NIH certification required Telemetry certification required IV certification with adult experience required PACU weekend rotation required National certification preferred About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
