Sr. Maintenance Technician

Overview The Sr. Maintenance Technician - Facilities Reliability will report to either the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor on the respective shift. The Sr. Maintenance Technician will perform day-to-day maintenance activities of the CFA Supply Distribution Center (DC) building envelope, building equipment, space occupied by CFA Supply, and common areas of the site. This role will work closely with all levels of the Maintenance team, while also interacting with operations team members, plant employees, truck drivers, equipment operators, etc., in addition to the Safety, Quality, and Compliance Lead. Additional benefits to help you thrive in all areas of life, including emotional, social, physical, financial, and spiritual! 7 Responsibilities Perform daily inspections, preventative, reactive and predictive maintenance of the building envelope, building equipment, space occupied by CFA Supply, and common areas of the site Maintain equipment in accordance with manufacturer specs, work order instructions, and warranty agreements Escalate maintenance issues that cannot be resolved in a timely manner Perform maintenance activities in a reliable and cost-effective manner in compliance with safety, quality, compliance requirements and industry standards, and CFA's SOPs Identify reoccurring problems impacting asset life and identify possible solutions Load financial and operational data into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and its financial systems in an accurate, complete, and timely manner Perform off-shift critical work and emergency repairs when needed Participate in the selection of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary to support the maintenance operations; help determine inventory levels and quantities of spare parts required Ensure maintenance and facilities management records are properly maintained and safeguarded Support CFA Supply Sustainment's initiatives to reduce energy consumption and waste generation Support the coordination and communication with site leadership to discuss/coordinate activities that might impact each other from an operational and safety standpoint Potential to be required to act as Maintenance Lead on weekend shift Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) High school diploma 7+ years of experience in maintenance within food manufacturing and distribution operations or similar operations Proficiency in equipment maintenance, mechanical design, and assembly Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines, including hydraulic maintenance, with trouble‑shooting experience Experience with blueprints and shop drawings Possesses an uncompromising commitment to food safety for customers and overall safety for the organization and its employees Self‑starter with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Experience leading and coaching maintenance teams Availability for on‑call support and shift flexibility, as needed Team player, also able to work independently when necessary Excellent written/verbal communication, problem-solving and multitasking skills; Intermediate computer skills Proficient communicating in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately read and interpret company communications Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities) 10+ years of experience in maintenance within food manufacturing and distribution operations or similar operations; 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role Associate degree; certified maintenance technician Engineering background and automation maintenance experience, including trouble‑shooting experience Prior Building Systems, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, Rail Systems, Ammonia Refrigeration, and Robotics experience beneficial Prior experience in the use of CMM Knowledge of applicable SQC requirements Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 55000 - Asset Management Standard), leading practices, and industry benchmarks Quick and versatile learning skills, adaptive and open to change Experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation, including 5S Practices, Total Preventative Maintenance and Visual Factory Required Years of Experience 7 Travel Requirements 25% Required Level of Education High School Diploma or GED Preferred Level of Education Associate's Degree Relocation Assistance Provided No #J-18808-Ljbffr Chick-fil-A Supply
