Team Leader CRCST - Full Time Evening -80 hrs biweekly

Job Title

This role is responsible for supporting daily team operations by ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in alignment with organizational standards. It includes assisting with employee oversight, coordinating schedules, and helping manage performance related processes. The position also involves collaborating with leadership to address team needs, maintain compliance with policies, and promote a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Team lead will assist in supervising, implementing, coordinating, and organizing activities pertaining to Central Sterile and OR services.
• Team Lead will assist in handling and proving time off requests, reviewing and approving disciplinary actions, and supporting the completion and oversight of performance evaluations.
• Responsible for assisting in patient care by cleaning, wrapping, sterilizing, storing and distributing equipment, supplies, and instruments.
• Responsible for assisting with clinical staff by using specialized knowledge in surgical instrumentation and procedures to prepare for surgical cases.
• Technical guidance will be provided to others involved in the assembly of instrumentation and preparation of case carts.
• Acts as a resource or mentor for the team and other staff.
• Team lead will act as a supervisor during the absence of Clinical manager.
• Assures the patients, physicians, and associates needs are met through the effective and efficient supervision.
• Provides functional guidance to the team and assists manager with scheduling, training and inventory duties.
• Communicates effectively with associates as it relates to patient care and customer relations.
• Team lead will provide different various tasks and skills.
• Supports hospital mission and value statement.

Education and Experience Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Three (3)- five (5) years of experience preferred.

Certification:

Required Certified/Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST)
