In this role, you will support daily laboratory operations by preparing specimens, organizing supplies, and ensuring all processes meet quality and accuracy standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional laboratory environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare laboratory specimens and related supplies in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelinesEnsure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of laboratory dataMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentAssist in the onboarding and training of new team membersPerform additional duties as assigned to support overall laboratory operationsSchedule & RequirementsStandard work hours: 2:00pm-10:30pmRequired to work every 3rd weekendIdeal CandidateStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructions and established protocolsReliable, professional, and committed to qualityComfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory settingExcellent communication and teamwork skillsJob SummaryResponsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.QualificationsHigh school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) preferred. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
