Endo/GI Lab Registered Nurse

The position requires experience in assisting with various GI procedures as a circulator and technician. Candidates should be comfortable operating and troubleshooting ultrasound processors and assisting with Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) tools for biopsies. Experience with managing specialized imaging catheters and stents for treating bile and pancreatic duct issues is essential. Candidates must also be familiar with setting up advanced electrocautery, injection needles, and snares for resections of large polyps or early-stage cancerous lesions. The role involves handling specialized equipment for visualizing and treating the small bowel. Assisting with endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and device setup for structural GI conditions is required. Technicians are responsible for high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes in accordance with standards. There is a pass/fail exam during orientation, where a score of 90% is required to pass. Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care. Refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of the contract. Weekly weeknight call plus weekend call coverage is expected. The team currently covers call approximately 1-2 weeknights per week and about every 3 weekends. Candidates should be prepared for dynamic and challenging work in a fast-paced environment.
