School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Elgin, Illinois

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Recent experience in a K-12 school or educational setting
• Demonstrated skills in assessment, intervention, and service delivery for school-aged children
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite speech-language therapy to students in a transitional program
• Deliver group and individual sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language, and social skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and report outcomes in a timely manner
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Maintain clear and positive communication with caregivers and educational staff

Role Details:

• Onsite position near Elgin, IL
• Schedule runs June 1st through June 25th, Monday through Thursday
• Working hours: 7:30am - 1:30pm (students present 8am - 1pm)
• Approximately 24 hours per week
• Provide support in a structured transitional program designed to bridge learning for students during the early summer weeks
