Plant Finance Manager

A well-established, global manufacturing organization is seeking a Plant Finance Manager to support a key production facility. This is a high-visibility role partnering directly with plant leadership to drive financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and influence strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning Analyze financial performance vs. forecast and provide actionable insights Prepare and present financial reports, KPIs, and variance analyses to leadership Translate financial data into clear business recommendations Plant & Operational Finance Oversee cost accounting across labor, materials, inventory, and overhead Monitor key plant metrics: headcount costs, scrap, production efficiency, and inventory Support product costing, margin analysis, and standard cost updates Partner with operations to track daily/weekly performance and drive improvements Business Partnership Act as a strategic advisor to the Plant Manager and site leadership Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and accounting Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting 5+ years of finance/accounting experience 2+ years in a manufacturing or plant environment (required) Strong expertise in forecasting, P&L management, and financial analysis Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred) Advanced Excel skills; strong business communication abilities Knowledge of inventory, cost accounting, and plant operations Preferred: CPA, CMA, or MBA Experience supporting plant leadership or operations teams #J-18808-Ljbffr Evergreen Talent Partners
