Registered Nurse - Acute Care Services

Location: Elko, Nevada

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 18:45 - 07:15, 12-hour shifts, guaranteeing 36 hours per week.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Acute Care Services department. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. You will work in a dynamic environment, focusing on medicine, surgery, telemetry, and pediatrics.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments to patients according to their care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during their stay.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of Nevada.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required (must obtain ACLS within 60 days and PALS within 90 days of start date).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar acute care setting.
