Staff Analog Design Engineer

Job Location Wilmington, MA Responsibilities Lead the architectural definition and design of complex mixed‑signal ICs from concept through production release. Participate in design optimization for power, performance, and area, and ensure compliance with rigorous quality standards. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to drive innovative solutions and deliver successful products to market. Work with digital design and design verification teams on block and system integration and verification at the chip level. Coordinate with product definition, applications, and test engineering to define requirements and oversee the transition of new products from concept to production release. Assess and resolve complex integrated circuit issues in the laboratory. Education and Experience Requirements M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years CMOS IC design experience. Familiar with high‑gain amplifiers, switched‑capacitor circuits, comparators, integrators, voltage references, LDOs. Excellent written/verbal communication; strong cross‑team collaboration. Manage layout and post‑layout simulations. Preferred Qualifications ADC/DAC design experience. Audio IC design background. Proficient in Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulation. Skilled with MATLAB or similar modeling tools. Knowledgeable in digital signal processing concepts. Analog/digital behavioural modelling expertise. Team and project leadership experience. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance‑based bonus which is based on personal and company factors. This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401(k), paid vacation, holidays and sick time, and other benefits. Required Travel: Yes, 10% of the time.
