Description: Acloche is seeking a Skilled Brake Operator
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating brake press machinery to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications and production requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC and/or manual brake press machines to form metal parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings for each job.
Measure and inspect finished products using calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet customer and company standards.
Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product accuracy and consistency.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Maintain production records and document completed work.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous brake press, machine operator, fabrication, or metal forming experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
Ability to safely handle metal materials and components.
Schedule & Pay
Full-time position
Overtime may be required based on production needs
Competitive pay based on experience

Preferred Skills

CNC Brake Press experience
Manufacturing or metal fabrication background
Forklift certification (if applicable)
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
