CDL A Boat Transport Driver

Palmetto Yacht Management

Job Description

Palmetto Yacht Management is the 2nd largest Family Owned, Vessel Relocation Company in the business!

If you have a passion for the sea, a commitment to safety, and the expertise required for this challenging yet rewarding position, we would love to hear from you! We work closely with many premiere boat manufacturers such as Pursuit, Scout Boats, Midnight Express, Everglades, as well as the MarineMax organization.

Traveling with Palmetto is regional 80% of the year, very similar to that of FedEx and UPS. With our many facilities along the east coast our team relays boat shipments up and down the eastern seaboard keeping our drivers local to their home region, and home several evenings throughout the week.
Offering Flexible schedules to find the perfect work/home life balance!
We have the perfect blend of boating and traveling with our marine transport division! Get paid to move boats on land in our always new Ram 5500’s and custom boat trailers! Turn your vast boating experience into a lifelong career with the #1 yacht transportation company!
This lifestyle will provide a unique view into the latest and greatest boat models as they are being released, behind the scenes at the world’s largest boat shows, and all around unique marine experience.
Fully stocked trucks with power tools and equipment to keep you rolling!
Company credit cards to cover unexpected expenses when on the road and hotel accommodations provided (no more sleeping in the truck!)
Guaranteed 30-day, 6-month, and Yearly reviews with the potential of a 3% pay increase at every review!

Qualifications

Excellent Navigational Skills and Proven Experience in Boat Handling
Strong attention to detail and safety
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Please submit your resume along with any relevant certifications and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and why you believe you would be a great fit for our team. We offer competitive pay and the chance to work in a dynamic, outdoor environment where no two days are the same.
