Life-Science Innovations has a full-time opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join their team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, preparing journal entries, maintaining fixed asset records, assisting with month-end close activities, and supporting the overall accounting function. This role supports the preparation of accurate financial reports.
Work Location: This role supports and requires working onsite at two locations, Life-Science Innovations and Farm Service Elevator, which are in close proximity to one another.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare and post daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries accurately and timely.
Analyze financial trends, business operations, revenues, expenses, and costs to support forecasting and decision-making.
Record and reconcile various transactional activities.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances.
Support the preparation of internal financial reports and schedules.
Perform general accounting and administrative duties as needed.
The ideal candidate will have the following educational and experience background:
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required with 1–2 years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of GAAP, accounting systems, business processes, and applicable accounting and tax regulations.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
Ability to coordinate tasks, monitor activities, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Pay: $55,600 - $69,500/Year
