As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue08:00 PM - 04:00 AMWed08:00 PM - 04:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation facilities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of stations, platforms, transit centers, parking areas, buildings, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing individuals to appropriate resources, and report unauthorized access or policy violations according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate transit personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports while maintaining professional communication with site contacts and the public. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Baton certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
