Assistant Professor of Surgery (Vascular Surgery)

The Yale School of Medicine, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified vascular surgeon for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.

We are seeking a vascular surgeon with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, academic inquiry, and the education of future surgeons. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized and collegial team providing comprehensive vascular and endovascular care at St. Raphael's Campus (SRC) and YNHH.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing the full spectrum of open and endovascular vascular surgery care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Participating in and contributing to the education of medical students, residents, and vascular fellows
• Engaging in clinical research, quality improvement, and academic activities aligned with the mission of the Department of Surgery
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance innovation and excellence in patient care

Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent degree
• Board eligible or certified in Vascular Surgery
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Connecticut
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching, clinical scholarship, and academic advancement
