What We're Looking For:
Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Health Aides (HHA), and Personal Care Assistants (PCA). As a CNA/HHA/PCA, you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient laundry when necessary
- Provide medication reminders
- Ensure patient safety
- Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
- Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
- Monitor and record patient temperature
- Assist patients with ambulation
- Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
- Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
- Offer bathing assistance
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
- Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided)
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Preferred: current CPR certification
- Preferred: current tuberculosis (TB) test
