As a part-time Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties:Daily Care: Support residents with tasks such as bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, and other daily needs based on their care plansSafety Measures: Apply basic safety devices and report hazards, unusual behavior, and equipment issues to nursing staffResident Observation: Watch for changes in resident condition and share important information with professional staffRoom Maintenance: Keep resident rooms clean and organized and assist with linen changes and supply restockingResident Transport: Escort and move residents safely to appointments, activities, and other locationsRecord Keeping: Document care and services accurately to meet state and facility requirementsInterested in learning more? You will work rotating days and weekends.1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM)2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM)3rd shift (11:15 PM to 7:45 AM)You will be required to work every other weekend.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Hourly Rate: In some cases, the starting hourly rate may be non-negotiable.DMVA is pleased to announce the launch of a Nursing Referral Program, promoting the hiring and retention of nursing staff at Pennsylvania's veterans homes.
