Parts Runner

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for Parts Runners in Bridgeport, WV. Responsibilities include assisting stores departments by receiving and expediting parts and tooling, delivering parts to technicians, ensuring proper stocking of the parts department, and maintaining cleanliness by disposing of trash and sweeping floors daily. Other tasks as assigned include adhering to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

Qualifications, experience, and requirements include dependability, the ability to follow instructions, reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65, a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and compliance with FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks.

Job type is full-time, contract with various shift hours including FHD Sun-Tue every other Wed 6:00 AM-6:30 PM, FHN Sun-Tue every other Sat 6:00 PM-6:30 AM, BHD Thu-Sat every other Wed 6:00 AM-6:30 PM, BHN Wed-Fri every other Sat 6:00 PM-6:30 AM. Candidates must be willing to work either shift, and overtime is available.

Essential job functions include working as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment, being a self-starter with little to no guidance, being highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task. Computer proficiency is required. Physical demands include occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, standing, and/or climbing. Work environment is FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
