Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity by verifying authorization, documenting visitor information, and reporting security-related concerns according to post orders.
• Prepare accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
