What You'll Do
- Provide skilled nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and related specialties
- Monitor patient vitals and recovery status post-surgery
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Assist with patient assessments and respond promptly to emergencies
- Support perioperative, endoscopy, and recovery procedures with high proficiency
What You Need
- Valid RN license in Vermont or eligible for licensure
- Proven experience in perioperative, endoscopy, or recovery settings
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
About the Assignment This role supports a busy Post Anesthesia Care Unit that handles perioperative, endoscopy, and recovery cases. You will work alongside a dedicated team committed to providing top-tier patient care during the crucial recovery phases following anesthesia.
