Job Description

We're looking for compassionate Personal Care Assistants who are eager to make a difference in the daily lives of clients through attentive, non-medical support. In this role, you'll assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and light housekeeping in a home care setting. As part of our Living Assistance Program, you'll help ensure clients feel safe, respected, and supported in their day-to-day routines.


This position includes a requirement to work one weekend per month.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs

• Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders

• Engage clients in safe, meaningful activities and companionship

• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment

• Assist with transportation for errands and appointments

Collaborative Teamwork

This role involves working closely with our team to deliver effective, client-focused services and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.


Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required and maintained

• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

• Ability to write legibly, spell correctly, and perform basic math

• Six months of experience as a caregiver in home care preferred

• Valid California driver's license, good driving record, and automobile insurance

• Access to a reliable vehicle for home visits

• Completion of Live Scan required
