Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Illinois This position involves providing perioperative care for a small rural hospital with a diverse surgical schedule. The RN will have experience with endoscopy, oversee OR cases including orthopedic, robotic (Da Vinci), vascular, urology, and gynecological surgeries, and participate in on-call rotations, including weekends. Flexibility to stay longer after shifts to complete cases is essential.

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) with OR and Endoscopy experience
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week

• EMR Type: Cerner
• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience preferred; minimum experience requirement is 0 years
• Certifications/Education: Active Illinois nursing license required
• Additional Information:
  • Must be able to circulate OR cases across multiple specialties including orthopedics, robotic surgery, vascular, urology, and gynecological procedures
  • Will participate in endoscopy call and handle OR cases, including those with longer durations
  • Must be flexible for on-call shifts, including approximately 1-2 days per week and every 4th or 5th weekend (Friday to Monday)
  • The hospital operates 7 ORs, including a c-section suite and endovascular suite, performing about 1-2 c-sections, 6 endovascular cases, and 20-25 cataracts weekly
