Join us and lay the foundation for your success. Apply today! The Lead Machinist is responsible for Mastercam programming, CNC operations, and has strong knowledge of tools and machining techniques. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to fixture work creatively, and familiarity with AI-assisted machining software. Duties and Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (Haas lathe and 5-axis milling) Utilize Mastercam and CAM Assist or other AI software for machining processes Ensure precision and quality by selecting the appropriate tooling for lathes and mills Develop creative work-holding solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications Maintain a safe and organized work environment It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of CNC experience (Haas lathe and 5-axis milling) Proficiency in Mastercam for programming and setup Manual lathe and milling experience preferred, but not required Strong knowledge of tooling and machining techniques Ability to work independently and lead by example Working Conditions The Lead Machinist will be in an air-conditioned warehouse environment. This role has a comp range between $65,000 and $85,000. Physical requirements include talking, Hearing, Standing, walking, moving, climbing, carrying, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling, driving, sitting, and lifting.
