Family Law Paralegal

We're hiring a paralegal to assist our legal team in preparing legal documents, filing motions, coordinating law office activity, and conducting legal research. Responsibilities • Assist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence, including subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, and legal briefs
• Support trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and conducting legal research
• Perform administrative duties, including answering phone calls and maintaining an organized case filing system
• Conduct client interviews to gather information about legal matters
• Assist attorneys with files
• Communicate with clients consistently regarding updates and changes to their case Qualifications • 2+ years as a Family Law Paralegal in the state of Texas
• Professional paralegal certification or advanced paralegal education
• Clear, concise, and effective communication skills, as well as proficiency in writing and grammar
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook), and familiarity with legal software
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a positive attitude
• Ability to reliably commute to Austin, TX 78746
