School-Based Physical Therapist - Hopewell Junction, NY

Make a meaningful impact on young students' lives by providing essential physical therapy services in an elementary school setting near Hopewell Junction, NY. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2027, offering you the chance to work closely with a small caseload and build lasting connections in the school community. You'll deliver in-person PT support for two elementary-aged students, conducting four 30-minute sessions each weekall conveniently scheduled within one school. This role is structured for approximately four hours per week, making it ideal for clinicians seeking a flexible, supplemental position. Qualifications: Current Physical Therapy licensure in New York (NY PT) TSSLD certification required Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within school settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to providing individualized, student-centered therapy Ability to meet onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting and completion of signed contract Key Responsibilities: Conduct direct physical therapy sessions for assigned students, focusing on skill development and goal attainment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district standards Participate in team meetings and IEP processes as necessary Monitor and report progress, adapting interventions as needs evolve What Makes This Opportunity Unique?
