Clapper is the unhinged social platform for everyday people who want to create content. Unlike other apps, we give our creators the tools to grow, and anyone can make content that stands out.

We are seeking a creative, AI-curious Designer to join our team full-time in our Lewisville, TX office. As the sole designer on the team, you will be the creative force behind Clapper's visual identity, in-app experiences, product features, and marketing assets. You will work closely with our product, marketing, and engineering teams to design compelling visuals that elevate the user experience and drive creator engagement.

Design at Clapper is evolving. We embrace AI-assisted workflows as part of how great work gets done here — including VibeCoding, the practice of using AI platforms like Manus and Claude to help build and iterate on in-app landing pages and feature experiences. We are not looking for someone who has mastered this space; we are looking for someone who understands the concept, has a basic familiarity with how to prompt these tools, and is genuinely excited to grow with us as this way of working becomes more central to how we build.

Key Responsibilities:

Design at Clapper spans a wide range of deliverables, and this person will own all of them. On the product side, you will design and help build in-app landing pages and feature experiences, using AI tools and VibeCoding techniques to move quickly and iterate with confidence. You will also create the animated virtual gift assets that appear during Clapper's livestreaming sessions — these gifts are a cornerstone of our creator monetization ecosystem, and their visual quality directly shapes the energy and engagement of every live session.

From a growth and marketing perspective, you will own the visual strategy for our App Store and Google Play Store listings, designing high-converting screenshots, feature graphics, and custom store listing assets that communicate Clapper's value proposition at a glance. You will develop trend-forward video templates that help our creator community produce polished content more easily, and you will produce a broad range of marketing graphics, social media imagery, and promotional templates to support campaigns across all of Clapper's channels.

You will also design professional, on-brand pitch decks, media kits, and presentation templates for internal strategy sessions and external partnerships, ensuring that every piece of communication reflects the warmth and authenticity that defines the Clapper brand.

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate has proven experience in graphic design or visual design, ideally within a startup, tech, or social media environment. A strong portfolio is required: one that demonstrates both a sharp design sensibility and an understanding of how design functions within a product context.

A genuine understanding of UX principles is essential, as every asset you create will be experienced by real creators who depend on Clapper to grow their communities and earn their livelihoods. Experience with motion graphics or animation is highly desirable given the animated gift design component of the role.

When it comes to AI and VibeCoding, we are not looking for an expert. We are looking for someone who is aware of the landscape, has some foundational knowledge of how to prompt AI tools effectively, and is eager to develop this skill as part of their day-to-day design practice at Clapper. Curiosity and a willingness to learn matter far more than existing mastery here.

Above all, you must be self-directed, resourceful, and genuinely comfortable in a startup environment where priorities shift, timelines are tight, and your work has immediate, visible impact.
