The Lvn advocates for patient safety and protocol integrity, adheres to nursing standards, and communicates effectively to ensure effective conduct of clinical trials and quality patient care./ppEssential Duties And Responsibilities/ppEssential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:/pulliObtains, monitors, and documents vital signs to include pulse, blood pressure, temperature, respiratory rate, height, and weight./liliConfirms and documents fasting status./liliObtains and documents pain scale and fatigue scale./liliAccesses, flushes, and deaccesses central venous access devices using aseptic technique./liliObtains peripheral venous access using aseptic technique./liliObtains clinical labs and study specific specimens according to the patients schedule and protocol guidelines./liliObtains good quality ECGs according to the patients schedule and protocol guidelines./liliCollects and reviews medication lists and diaries as appropriate./liliAssists RNs/Physicians with procedures or examinations./liliPrepares laboratory requisitions and supplies./liliMaintains cleanliness of draw stations and work areas./liliInventories and requests supplies as necessary/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpRequired Education And Experience/pulliCurrent BLS/ACLS or obtained within 90 days of employment./liliCurrent Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse/liliIV and venous access device management skills preferred./li/ulpWhy Join Us?/ppAt Next Oncology (an Avacare Business), youll be part of a mission-driven team that values collaboration, precision, and patient safety.
