Job Description \n Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Normal, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department \n Discipline: RN \n Start Date: ASAP \n Duration: 9 weeks \n 36 hours per week \n Shift: 12 hours, nights \n Employment Type: Travel \n \n Job Summary (List Format): \n - Provides professional nursing care for a group of patients during assigned shifts. \n - Utilizes the nursing process, current trends, and technology to deliver patient care. \n - Performs all required duties and responsibilities specific to the Emergency Department (ED). \n - Completes initial patient assessments, develops and implements individualized care plans in collaboration with providers, patients, and families. \n - Modifies care plans based on ongoing patient assessments and changing needs. \n - Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation for integration into the healthcare team. \n - Ensures patient and staff safety by identifying and addressing safety hazards and incidents. \n - Communicates effectively with staff, patients, families, and visitors to promote a healthy, healing environment. \n - Provides constructive feedback to peers for professional development and problem-solving. \n - Identifies personal learning needs and pursues opportunities for growth and competency. \n - Fulfills all departmental competencies and adheres to unit standards. \n - Requires minimum three (3) years of relevant nursing experience. \n - Requires Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) and active Illinois RN license in good standing. \n - Requires BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC/TNS/TCRN certifications (American Heart Association). \n - Works 12-hour night shifts in the Emergency Department. \n - Communicates effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing). \n Med Ninjas Job ID 6243. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
