Mechanical and Electrical Component Assembler and Tester

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Follow standard work procedures and visual operating procedures to successfully complete assigned tasks.
Participate in the assembly of products using hand tools, portable power tools, or by hand .
Assist with the assembly process and testing on the production floor to meet customer needs and project timelines .
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues to minimize downtime and enhance production efficiency.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and staff to ensure process documentation (Work Instructions, SOPs, etc.) is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in engineering, engineering technology , or equivalent technical experience/certifications .
3 years of experience as a technician, including CAD design experience .
2-3 years of experience in electro-mechanical or mechanical assembly in an industrial work setting .
Hands-on experience working with hand tools .
