Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct various ultrasound studies, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, communicating each phase with empathy and clarity
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment while reporting any issues without delay
  • Meticulously document procedures and manage patient records utilizing the electronic medical system
  • Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging methodologies and best practices
Educational Background
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
Necessary Certifications
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Essential Skills
  • Strong technical capabilities in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
