Parts Clerk Needed ASAP! (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Tuscaloosa, AL Pay Rate: $16.00/hour Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM PrideStaff is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Clerk to join a local automotive dealership team in Tuscaloosa, AL. This is an excellent Temp-to-Hire opportunity for an individual who is seeking a long-term career and possesses basic automotive knowledge and strong inventory management skills. You will be the essential link between service technicians and the parts inventory, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of component requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage automotive inventory, including receiving incoming shipments, inspecting contents, stocking shelves, and maintaining accurate inventory logs.
• Process parts orders and source hard-to-find luxury vehicle components, placing and tracking shipments using the dealer's specific management systems.
• Fulfill parts requests, assisting both walk-in customers and internal service technicians with inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Ensure the parts counter and warehouse storage environment are clean, safe, and highly organized.

Qualifications:

• Basic automotive knowledge and computer literacy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Willingness to learn and be trained on new automotive processes and systems.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen is required.
