Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, ensuring tailored treatment plans are developed to address individual concerns.

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy services, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy.

  • Collaborate effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, facilitating coordinated care that addresses both clinical and social factors impacting clients’ well-being.

  • Provide crisis intervention and support, applying clinical expertise and compassion to assist clients experiencing acute mental health crises.
  • \n
  • Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and reducing societal stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Valor Center, you will serve a diverse range of clients with varying mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will require you to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity, ensuring that clients from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds receive effective and personalized care.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid, independent, and active license as an LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
  • \n
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with clients.

  • Demonstrated cultural competence, effectively able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining accurate, timely documentation through electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Prior experience in outpatient therapy settings, specifically treating a variety of mental health disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
