Registered Nurse - PCU Specialty

Schedule

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with a total of 36 hours scheduled and a guarantee of 24 hours per week. On-call schedule to be determined by the facility.

Job Description

The role requires a Registered Nurse to float between multiple campuses. The nursing team cares for patients in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), general telemetry monitored, and medical patients using a universal bed model.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a progressive care unit setting.
• Monitor patient status and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience required.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No disciplinary actions on state license to practice.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors.
• Flu vaccination status must be provided upon submission.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
