The Laboratory Courier is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of blood and bodily fluid specimens using a car across local and interstate delivery areas. This role demands strict adherence to chain of custody protocols and regulatory compliance to ensure the integrity and safety of specimens. The courier will efficiently coordinate pickups, maintain inventory, and communicate clearly with customers while managing schedules to meet delivery deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Transport blood and bodily fluid specimens safely and timely using a car
• Manage specimen inventory and document pickups accurately
• Coordinate specimen pickups and deliveries across local and interstate areas
• Maintain proper chain of custody for all specimens
• Adhere to health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm schedules and delivery status
• Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license

• 1+ years experience in logistics or courier services
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Strong time management skills
