Contract | Days | 4x9-Hour Shifts | Tuesday through Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in Plastics, ENT, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Urology, and Ophthalmology
• Monitor and assess patients in the PACU setting, ensuring safe recovery from anesthesia
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC
• Participate in bi-weekly orientation as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or a pending Nebraska RN state license
• Minimum of 3 years of PACU or pre/post-operative nursing experience
• Experience in pre/post-op care across Plastics, ENT, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Urology, and Ophthalmology required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Familiarity with high-acuity, complex patient populations in a large acute-care setting
