Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe L2 Tech Onsite and Desktop Support Technician is an essential member of a large technical support team, providing comprehensive hardware and cabling solutions. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role involves hands-on support, troubleshooting, and network setup with a balance of new installations and maintenance tasks. The technician will regularly travel onsite (10-30%) to ensure seamless technology operations and efficient resolution of technical issues within a 16+ technician environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and desktop support to end-users in a large team environmentPerform cable installation and network setup tasks, including new installations and maintenanceMaintain and troubleshoot hardware, including system upgrades and testingAssist with equipment testing and maintain documentation to ensure operational standardsResolve tickets promptly using the AutoTask ticketing systemEngage with customers to understand and address technical issues effectivelySupport mixed hardware and cabling projects with regular onsite travel (10-30%)Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in technical supportAssociate degree in Information Technology or related fieldPreferred Qualifications1+ years of additional experience in technical supportHigh school diploma or equivalentProficient with hardware troubleshooting and operating systems (Windows/macOS)Knowledge of network cabling and basic Active DirectoryStrong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skillsEffective time management and familiarity with ticketing systems Impress Computers
