Senior Business Development Executive - IT & Cybersecurity Services

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (Hybrid – minimum two days per week in our Scottsdale office) At GMI, we don't sell products—we solve business problems. What You'll Sell Managed IT Services Cybersecurity Services Managed Detection & Response (MDR) Security Assessments & Advisory AI Strategy & Managed AI Services Networking & Infrastructure IT Asset Management Service Desk & End User Support What You'll Do Generate net-new business through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships. Build relationships with CIOs, CISOs, IT Directors, Procurement leaders, and executive decision-makers. Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution. Navigate RFPs, procurement processes, vendor onboarding, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with technical architects and delivery teams to develop winning solutions. Consistently maintain and grow a healthy pipeline. Meet and exceed revenue and activity goals. We're Looking For Someone Who Has a proven track record of hunting and closing new business. Has experience selling IT services, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, or technology consulting. Understands enterprise and public-sector procurement processes. Is comfortable selling six-figure and seven-figure services engagements. Can communicate with both technical and executive audiences. Is self-motivated, competitive, and thrives with autonomy. Lives in Arizona and can work from our Scottsdale office at least two days each week. Bonus Points Existing relationships within Arizona businesses or public-sector organizations. Experience responding to RFPs and formal procurement opportunities. Knowledge of AI, cybersecurity, managed services, or cloud technologies. Why GMI?
