Janney Roofing is hiring a Senior Roofing Service Technician based in Orlando, FL, with potential travel throughout Florida, including Tampa and Jacksonville.

We are looking for an experienced roofing professional who can lead by example, solve problems in the field, and deliver high-quality roofing, gutter, and siding installations and repairs. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, works well independently, and values strong customer relationships.

About This Roofing Service Role

This is a hands-on roofing and exterior service position focused on installation, repairs, troubleshooting, and customer satisfaction. You will travel to various job sites, assess project needs, and complete work according to code and manufacturer specifications. Success in this role comes from strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain professionalism in the field.

Roofing Service Responsibilities

• Lead roofing, gutter, and siding installations and repairs
• Perform exterior service work including carpentry, staining, painting, and pressure washing
• Review daily job assignments and complete work independently or with crew support
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and local building code requirements
• Maintain accurate job records and utilize company software systems
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and organized job sites
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional communication on-site

Roofing Technician Qualifications

• 5+ years of roofing or exterior installation experience
• Lead installer or crew leadership experience preferred
• Strong track record of winning and delivering successful projects
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple jobs
• Comfortable working on ladders and in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Clean driving record and ability to be insured by the company
