The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating CAD designs and detailed drawings. Reporting to the Product Director, this role requires fluency in AutoCAD and CNC programming software and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for creating CAD designs and detailed drawingsCoordinates prototype and production sample buildsCreate CNC tool paths for a variety of manufacturing productsOversee CNC processes to ensure the programming is functioning properly and verify the parts are correctExperienced in nesting CNC machines to maximize yieldTroubleshoot CNC issues involving program errors, offsets, tooling, and other issuesProvides support to manufacturing to ensure product is fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the designCoordinates preparing quotes and making engineering drawings as required to facilitate changes in productionGenerate CAD designs and prints on new and changing productsAssist in development and maintaining procedures and processes that support the Product TeamInterfaces with others in the organization and customers to jointly determine customer needs and solutions.Completes other duties as assigned by supervisorSkillsAbility to read and interpret shop drawings / production ordersFluency in AutoCAD and CNC programming software.Excellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work with others in a team environment and to give/receive feedbackAbility to inspect parts for compliance upon execution of programs.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environmentCapable of using calipers and other precision measuring instrumentsWhat We Offer$1,000 onboarding bonus within your first year$350 referral bonusWeekly performance bonusCompetitive payOpportunities of advancement through our manufacturing careers programAnniversary and tenure bonus paid yearlyHealth, vision, dental, and life benefitsImmediate participation in our company's 401k program & employer match after 6 months of employmentPaid time off and paid holidays
