Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) – Contract Location: California, 95490 Contract Dates: April 27, 2026 – July 26, 2026 ( 13 weeks ) Pay: $1,914 – $2,149/week Schedule: No call required Every other weekend coverage Float required between Ukiah and Howard Position Summary & Responsibilities: Provide basic and critical respiratory care across ED, ICU, and med‑surg/tele units Manage ventilated patients and ensure ventilator/VAP bundle compliance Administer oxygen, aerosol therapy, and obtain ABGs per protocol Perform pulmonary function testing and assist with bronchoscopy/special procedures Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment Document all patient care, therapies, and charges in Cerner Educate patients, families, and clinical staff on respiratory care Requirements: Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required Minimum 2 years respiratory therapy experience required BLS required ACLS required NRP required Critical care and OB experience preferred Facility size: 25 beds (4 ICU, remainder med-surg/tele) Staffing: 1 RT per shift Communication: SBAR #J-18808-Ljbffr TEEMA Solutions Group
