MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Welcome all customers and set expectations Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses Act as a leader in optical acumen Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions Use technology efficiently under time pressure and customer volume, applying exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tools Proactive: explore root cause of issues, forward‑thinking, ensure customers satisfied and expectations exceeded, solution‑driven Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies Take pride in store appearance, help keep store clean, attractive and organized Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices Be resourceful, self‑motivated and desire continual learning, improvement and results Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school graduate or equivalent State licensure Optical dispensing experience Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder Knowledge of current store merchandise Strong basic math skills Awareness of current fashion trends Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators Embrace new technology and change PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous customer service and retail experience Pay Range: $23.97 - $37.39 This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
