Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join the Social Work and Community Health (SWaCH) Department at Rush West Side Mental Health Center in Chicago’s West Garfield Park. This full‑time position (0.9–1.0 FTE) focuses on providing individual and group psychotherapy, conducting intake assessments, managing documentation in Epic, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support community‑based mental health care for adults and older adults. The role includes in‑person voice and telehealth therapy, family engagement, resource referral, and participation in organizational and public‑engagement events. Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Illinois. At least two years of experience in healthcare, care management, mental health, and/or social services. Preferred Job Qualifications Experience with relevant populations. Professional qualities such as initiative, self‑reflection, commitment, responsiveness, and adaptability. Knowledge of care management, community‑based interventions, assessment, counseling, and/or motivational interviewing. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and similar tools). Responsibilities Provide patient‑centered, trauma‑informed psychotherapy to adults and older adults. Conduct comprehensive psychotherapy intake assessments, both in person and via teletherapy, to develop individualized plans of care. Work collaboratively with patients and families to set therapy goals and provide necessary tools, skills, and resources. Maintain timely communication with other Rush providers and participate in interdisciplinary meetings as scheduled. Complete all required documentation and billing of patient sessions in Epic. Connect patients and families to relevant resources within Rush and the community. Promote Rush University System for Health clinical services by referring clients to appropriate clinics. Support team members in training, crisis management, and other activities as needed. Represent the department at meetings, conferences, or public engagements on an as‑needed basis.
