Pharmacist Opportunity on California’s Central Coast

A rewarding pharmacist position is available within an infusion center that is part of an integrated health system located on California’s scenic Central Coast. This contract role offers the chance to apply your skills in a dynamic healthcare environment specializing in oncology.

Location: This role requires flexibility to work between two pharmacy locations approximately 20 miles apart, serving communities in the San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria areas.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense chemotherapy admixtures and other medications with precision and adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and safe medication use for oncology patients
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and healthcare guidelines in an infusion center setting
• Manage pharmacy operations across two sites as needed to support patient care continuity

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active pharmacy license in California
• Experience with chemotherapy admixture and oncology pharmacy practices preferred
• Ability to toggle between two locations and manage workflow effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work in multidisciplinary healthcare teams

This is a 13-week+ contract role offering the opportunity to utilize your oncology pharmacy expertise in an impactful healthcare setting. Applicants must be prepared for travel between two nearby sites to provide high-quality patient care.
