Lead groups of student explorers through fitness, arts, technology, and other learning activities. Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents. Provide a caring, family‑oriented environment fostering positive staff, child, and parent relationships. Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs. Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency. Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations. Proof of experience through one of the following: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field. 1‑year state or nationally recognized credential related to school‑age care. Completion of 20 credits (semester) or 30 credits (quarter) of training at a college/university AND at least 1 year of qualifying teaching experience in a Certified Child Care Center or comparable program. 2 or more years of qualifying teaching experience (with at least one year as a teacher) in a Certified Child Care Center or comparable program. At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred. High School/Trade School degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
