Technical Support Specialist

Salary: $41,600 - 41,600 per year Requirements:

• Hold a CompTIA A+ certification, or an equivalent or higher-level technical certification.
• Have proven experience in IT support or help desk roles, with a solid grasp of networking concepts such as LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and Active Directory administration.
• Be proficient in troubleshooting printers, managing domain accounts, handling email accounts in Google and Microsoft environments, and supporting user-facing software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, and similar applications.
• Possess strong analytical skills to identify the root cause of technical issues efficiently.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with users of varying technical backgrounds.
• Be able to troubleshoot hardware components, including computer peripherals and network equipment, with efficiency.
• Be familiar with IT infrastructure elements such as DNS servers, LAN configurations, TCP protocols, GPOs, and firewall settings.
• Be able to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.
• Bring a proactive approach and maintain high-quality customer service in a fast-paced setting.
• Have 3+ years of professional IT experience, preferably in an MSP, help desk, or business IT environment.
• Experience with Kaseya products and platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Halo PSA or another professional services automation/help desk platform is preferred.
• Additional CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or other industry certifications are preferred.
• Demonstrate customer focus, problem-solving ability, reliability, strong follow-through, organization, teamwork, professionalism, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Be comfortable working primarily on-site in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, with hybrid or remote work considered for highly experienced, independent candidates.
• Be willing to complete a background check if selected to move forward in the hiring process.

• Respond promptly to incoming support requests through help desk systems and provide clear guidance and solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues involving computers, peripherals, mobile devices, and other equipment.
• Resolve software problems across Windows, macOS, and Linux, including application errors and configuration issues.
• Diagnose network connectivity problems involving LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP protocols.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and GPO to maintain secure access control.
• Support computer management tasks such as operating system updates, hardware installations, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Document support interactions accurately in ticketing systems and follow up to confirm resolution and client satisfaction.
