Together, we build a better world for all of us. Career Area Finance Job Summary Provide credit and documentation support for Caterpillar Financial Services Corporation (CFSC). Principal Duties and Responsibilities Negotiate complex financial transactions and prepare them for documentation and funding within limits of authority. Facilitate changes in standard documents with legal assistance. Administer wholesale and retail customer “loan” covenant compliance reviews, including on‑site record and machine/inventory audits. Determine CFSC customer credit worthiness, approve or reject deals within credit authority, recommend beyond authority, and restructure deals. Analyze situations, make decisions, and take measured risks using data and insight. Conduct and monitor credit investigations. Assist in leading documentation of retail accounts receivable. Provide training to employees in credit and documentation. Participate in continuous improvement objectives, analyzing data and identifying problem areas. Apply the company’s Harassment policy in all employment aspects. Job Requirements Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Mathematical computation skills. Data collection and analysis skills. Analysis of customer credit summaries and past‑due accounts. Financing and taxation principles. Amortization schedule calculation. Credit concepts and techniques. Knowledge of CFSC’s financing and leasing products. Past‑due account collection techniques. Financing and leasing documentation principles. Billing, invoicing, and dealer payment principles. UCC filing requirements and bankruptcy laws. Result orientation with flexibility and urgency. Interpersonal relationship building inside and outside the company. Quality focus while maintaining perspective on outcomes. Proactive learning and knowledge advancement. Education / Experience A 4‑year college degree in any discipline and a minimum of 2 years of exempt experience in credit, customer services, collections, marketing, financial statement analysis, or a related field is recommended. Prior experience must be progressively increasing in responsibility and accountability, demonstrating the ability to reach full competency. Equivalent experience may substitute for education. Summary Pay Range $74,124.00 – $138,144.00 Compensation and benefits may vary depending on location, role level, and performance.
