Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead sanitary and municipal engineering projects from planning through construction.

• Prepare feasibility studies, engineering reports, and technical analyses.

• Design wastewater collection systems, pump stations, force mains, and wastewater treatment facilities.

• Perform hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, and equipment sizing.

• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.

• Coordinate environmental permitting with regulatory agencies.

• Manage public bidding processes and provide construction administration.

• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and design technicians.

• Communicate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and regulatory agencies.

• Manage multiple projects while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required (or ability to obtain Pennsylvania licensure through reciprocity).

• 5-10 years of sanitary and municipal engineering experience.

• Experience with wastewater collection systems, pump stations, force mains, and wastewater treatment facilities.

• Knowledge of Pennsylvania environmental regulations and permitting.

• Experience with erosion & sediment control and stormwater BMPs.

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, EPA-SWMM, StormCAD, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.

• Experience preparing technical specifications and administering public bidding projects.

• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
