Payroll Coordinator

Role: Payroll Coordinator

Location : Scottsdale Arizona 85254

Setting : 100% On Site

Pay : $23 - $30/hour

Hours : Full-time (start between 7a - 9a)

Overview of Responsibilities

• Support daily payroll reporting and employee onboarding
• Validate new hires (up to 200/day during peak periods)
• Assist with payroll support related to an upcoming company move
• Use UKG payroll system (highly preferred; strongly desired at start)
• Process multistate payroll for approximately 1,500–2,000 employees
• Handle Personnel Action Requests: new hires, salary changes, bonuses, transfers, terminations, retro pay, and benefits adjustments
• Process garnishments (child support, tax levies, etc.)
• Generate and distribute manual payroll checks accurately and timely
• Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees and management

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high volume payroll experience
• Strong payroll systems knowledge (UKG experience preferred / required)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Credit check required (no fraud; explanations welcomed)
