What you will bring to the firm: You have a relentless drive to learn and grow as part of a high performing financial planning team. You are analytical and naturally curious and apply those traits to custom planning solutions. You enjoy working with clients and can formulate and deliver advice but would rather be a technical expert than be responsible for developing new business. What you will do: Prepare and deliver world class financial planning that resonates with clients and drives their desire to live boldly. Analyze potential planning strategies, develop recommendations, and explain your results to financial advisors on the team, as well as clients. Represent the firm as an expert in investments and insurance. Develop specialized financial planning knowledge as a thought leader for the firm. Mentor other team members to help accelerate their professional growth. What you have: 5+ years of experience with creating comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth families. Experience with creating custom financial planning analyses in Microsoft Excel. Collaborate within a team and work well in a team environment. Strong attention to detail skills. Previous experience analyzing permanent life insurance policies. Previous experience with retail investments. Knowledge of U.S. tax system and tax treatment of various investments and account types. Series 7 and 63/65/66 licenses, as well as California Life & Health insurance license (preferable). We are financial planners, and we support your financial plan with a 401(k) and profit‑sharing contribution. Compensation Range Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience. Bonus Target: $5,000 - $20,000 based on firm and individual performance.
