Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonary Thoracic - Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pulmonary and thoracic nursing care, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the PCU.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for any side effects or reactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about their diagnoses and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Recent experience in pulmonary or thoracic nursing in a progressive care setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
